YouTube and Home Staging? Why not?

We all need to get a little creative in this tight Real Estate market. I read an article online the other day talking about how savvy sellers are videotaping their homes’ interior and then uploading it to YouTube.  Hey, why not?  You can always put a link to it in your advertising.  Moving pictures help sell a house, especially if it looks good.  Don’t film the litter box or your pile of dirty laundry.  Make sure what you are taping is worth viewing… Hmmm, Staging anyone?      - Anne Francis

 

Feng Shui and Home Staging? Of course!

If the Feng Shui money area is missing in your home, you might be experiencing difficulties with receiving the energy of abundance, thereby hindering the successful sale of your home.  Combining the art of Feng Shui with professional Staging of your home can dramatically increase your chances of a quick and successful sale.
In Feng Shui, the area connected to your money, or financial prosperity and abundance, is the Southeast area of your home or office. In order to correctly define the Southeast area and strengthen the money energy, your need to know the Bagua, or the Feng Shui energy map of your space.
Southeast (compass reading from 112.5 to 157.5)

 Feng Shui Element: Wood
 
Colors: Brown and Green
Life Area: Money & Abundance
The Feng Shui element of the Southeast area is Wood, so be mindful about not placing Metal or Fire element objects and colors in the Money area. Instead lean toward earth tones of green and brown. The water element can also help strengthen this area of the home. Water colors are blue and black. Since the number “4” is significant in this area of your home, try to incorporate four of some item into the décor of that area.

Interior Redesign becoming more popular!

Many homeowners who feel they cannot move to a new place have decided to spruce up their homes by way of Interior Redesign. The concept is simple.  We take what you already own and use it in a new way so as to change the look of your space.  We carefully choose accessories and soft goods (window treatments, toss pillows, etc.) to enhance the look.  This is a very cost effective way of giving your house a “facelift” without breaking your budget.

We took an unusual raised floor area in the Great room that was being used for storage and added a water fountain and greenery.  This is now the focal point of the room and the sound is very soothing.

 We are now offering our Staging 101 Presentations to all Real Estate agencies.
